"Eat Smart, Train Hard — With Tailored Macro Meals"
Over the last 7 years specifically, I have really harnessed in my love for creating colorful, nutrient dense meals. After I started seriously strength training I realized how important the role of real nutrition became. You can train all you want, but if you eat processed, fast-foods, you’re body won’t achieve the goals you have in mind.
Training Hard Requires Fuel
After becoming diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease 10 years ago, I realized I needed to make the majority of my own food. It felt like a curse at the beginning, but ultimately was a blessing. During 2020 when everything went into lockdown, we were grateful to be able to have access to a local community shared agriculture (CSA) share. It quickly became so fun creating colorful meals with produce I normally wouldn’t buy or know how to cook.
I have always loved to bake, coming from someone with an immense sweet tooth, so I turned to all kinds of gluten free recipes and then ultimately coming up with my own. I then set up my own food blog and have uploaded countless recipes over the years. Now, I’m taking those recipes and pairing them with strength training and macro coaching! I am excited to share my love of how to balance a meal that will help you reach your goals, any diet preferences you have, and how to look forward to enjoying it. You should have fun with your meals, without feeling restricted. Please flip through these recipes and set aside some to try out.
